Ingredients

  • Chicken Breasts
  • Quinoa
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Onion
  • Chicken Broth 
  • Water 
  • Minced Garlic 
  • Bay Leaves 
  • Dried Oregano 
  • Dried Basil 
  • Red Pepper Flakes  
  • Salt 
  • Black Pepper

How to make chicken quinoa soup

  • Place all the ingredients in a crock pot.  
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours. 
  • Remove the chicken from the crock pot.  Shred into large pieces and stir it back into the crock pot. 
  • Remove the bay leaves from the crock pot.  
  • Then the soup is ready to serve and enjoy!

The longer the soup sits, the thicker it will be get because the quinoa will soak up more of the broth.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (cut into large pieces)
  • 1 cup quinoa (rinsed)
  • 3 carrots (peeled and diced)
  • 2 celery stalks (diced)
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
