  • Stew Meat – Chop up any inexpensive beef on sale into small pieces
  • Cream of Mushroom Soup – Use can or make Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup Recipe
  • Diced Onion – Dice onion into small pieces
  • Low Sodium Beef Broth – You can also use water
  • Salt and Pepper – Simple spices that adds amazing flavor

How to Make Crockpot Beef Tips

Placing the stew meat in the slow cooker

Step 1 – Place the chopped stew meat in the bottom of the crockpot before adding the other ingredients. (You can sear the meat but it’s optional).

    Delicious! Cut up a sirloin roast, browned the chunks in a skillet, put in crockpot. Put onion and dice mushrooms in the pan with a little garlic and red wine to deglaze and added a pkg of beefy onion soup mix, can of cream of mushroom soup, can of hot water. Mixed and cooked a couple min. Poured it on meat. Cooked on low 6hrs. Served with mashed potatoes.
