Step 1 – Place the chopped stew meat in the bottom of the crockpot before adding the other ingredients. (You can sear the meat but it’s optional).

This recipe is delicious over mashed potatoes, pasta or even rice. Sometimes, I will whip up a bowl of quick and easy Instant Pot Potatoes that can be ready in only 10 minutes!

I also freeze rice so that is so easy to just take out of the freezer on busy nights.

    Delicious! Cut up a sirloin roast, browned the chunks in a skillet, put in crockpot. Put onion and dice mushrooms in the pan with a little garlic and red wine to deglaze and added a pkg of beefy onion soup mix, can of cream of mushroom soup, can of hot water. Mixed and cooked a couple min. Poured it on meat. Cooked on low 6hrs. Served with mashed potatoes.
