Recipe Tips

  • Buy Peanut Butter on Sale – Stock up on peanut butter when it goes on sale. I try to always keep a full pantry with items purchased on sale. Peanut butter will last quite a while in your pantry and it is nice to save money.
  • Combining Ingredients – Instead of using the microwave you can heat on the stovetop over low heat in a small saucepan. Then allow the mixture to boil over high heat. Continue adding in ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

I am the type of peanut butter fan that believes most to all peanut desserts never have nearly enough peanut butter. This recipe is absolutely solving that problem! My only tweak was to add a little sprinkle of coarse salt once the topping was fully stirred and creamy. This would also be great with crunchy peanut butter as well!
