These Garlic Parmesan Wings are the perfect blend of crispy, savory and cheesy for the best wing recipe to serve for any occasion. These buttery, garlicky wings are baked to a golden brown texture for an Appetizers or Main Dish Recipe everyone will love.

What is Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce Made Of?

We love making homemade sauces so we can control the ingredients. This homemade garlic parmesan sauce is made with melted butter, parmesan cheese, garlic and simple seasonings.

Tossing these wings with this amazing sauce gives them so much flavor. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces for added flavor.

Ingredients

Ingredients - Chicken Wings, olive oil, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, butter, garlic, parmesan cheese, fresh parsley

How to Make Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

  • Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 – Pat the wings dry with a paper towel.

Step 3 – Place the wings in a large bowl. Drizzle the oil on top and toss the wings to coat them in the oil.

Step 4 – Sprinkle the baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper over the wings. Toss the wings to coat them in the seasoning mixture.

Step 5 – Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  Place the wings on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake wings for about 40 minutes until the wings are golden brown and the skin is crispy. You can even broil for a few minutes to make them extra crispy.

Step 6 – While the wings are cooking, add the butter to a small saucepan. Heat over medium high heat until the butter is melted.

Step 7 – Stir in the garlic and fresh parsley.  Heat for a few minutes until the fresh garlic is aromatic.

Step 8 – Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the wings and sprinkle the parmesan cheese.

Step 9 – Toss the crispy chicken wings to coat them in the sauce and extra parmesan cheese. Serve warm on a serving platter and enjoy! 

Recipe Tips

  • Prepare Wings – Before adding the seasoning, make sure to pat dry the wings once you remove from the package. This allows for the seasoning mixture to stick to the wings.
  • Baking Sheet – To easily clean the baking sheet pan, we recommend lining with parchment paper or aluminum foil. This helps to prevent the wings from sticking to the pan. You can even cook the wings on a wire rack to contain the fat drippings.
  • Placing Chicken Wings on Pan – Place the chicken wings in a single layer on the pan and we recommend not overcrowd the wings. This will help to ensure that every side of the wings gets crispy.

  • Sprinkle the baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper over the wings. Toss the wings to coat them in the seasoning mixture.
