You don’t want to buy asparagus that is limp. It should be firm when you choose this at the grocery store.
What all do you need?
- 1 Bunch Asparagus
- Mason Jar or Glass Jar
- 1 cup Water
- Plastic Bag
How to store asparagus in the fridge:
Thoroughly wash the asparagus and trim the ends by cutting off approximately 1 inch off the bottom of the asparagus.
Place the water in the bottom of the mason jar or glass cup. Place the asparagus in the jar or cup with the cut ends at the bottom in the water. Make sure all the ends are in the water. Add more water if needed.
Place the plastic bag over the top of the asparagus and store in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.
