Make sure you have a good air fryer.
Have you tried using an air fryer yet? I was hesitate to try it as I thought surely it can’t be as good as a traditional fryer but I think it might be even better! Now I love cooking in the air fryer.
Essentially, the air fryer moves air quickly over food similar to broiling it in an oven that it gives the food a similar tastes to food that has been fried in oil.
The air fryer doesn’t require a large amount of oil like a traditional fryer requires so foods cooked in the air fryer generally have less calories and less fat than fried foods.
This air fryer is the one that I currently have and I really like it. I can easily fit everything I need for our meal in it. Plus, it is pretty easy to clean afterwards.

Are the chicken breasts in a single layer? Requiring a few batches ?
Yes, I place the breast in a single layer so you would have to make multiple in batches depending on the size your air fryer.
Do I keep the air fryer on 360 or switch it to airfry. Mine is an Air Fry and toaster oven. So the Air Fry has no temperature gauge, just a temperature for toaster oven.
On my air fryer, you had to set a temperature gauge on the air fry setting as well. Try cooking it on just your air fry setting and monitor the chicken closely as you might need to extend the cook time if it’s not quite as high as mine was. Thank you.
Can you be more specific with the pounds of chicken and cooking time?
The chicken breasts that we used we’re approximately 1/2-3/4 pound in size and ours took about 25 minutes total (10 minutes and then flipped for 15 more minutes). Also, I used a meat thermometer to make sure that it was cooked all the way through to a safe temperature.
How do I adapt this to the XL power fryer? It has racks instead of a basket.
Tena – The cooking time would stay the same. I recommend placing the oil olive and seasoning on the chicken on a plate and then moving it to the your racks in your air fryer to cook. The time and temperature would still be the same.
