Valentines Day Dinner Ideas
We have a great Valentines Day Dinner menu to share with you. This delicious menu includes steak, potatoes, dessert and more – all for under $10 per person! Take this Valentines Day to spend time together, without spending a lot of money. Restaurants are always so crowded on Valentine’s Day that we often find ourselves stuck with long wait times and crowds. Cook this delicious meal at home and save time, money and have more time to actually spend together.
Main Dish – Flank Steak with easy marinade
Flank Steak costs about $6-7 per pound. About 1 pound of steak should be plenty for both people, so that is just $7 total. You probably have everything in your pantry to make this amazing marinade, so that cost would be negligible. You may even spend less and this marinade is amazing.
Side – Rosemary Roasted Potatoes
You only need a few red potatoes for this recipe, along with some butter and seasonings (which you probably have on hand). Total cost would be under $1. We are up to about $8. Can’t beat that!
Vegetable – Easy Roasted Asparagus
You can pick up a bunch of asparagus for about $3 at most grocery stores. Our grand total now is about $11. This side dish is amazing and seems “oh so fancy” without all the work. Plus, so simple to make.
Dessert – Sprite Zero Skinny Cupcakes
We can often get cake mix for about $1, but if you can grab one one sale and with a coupon you can probably find them for free (or at least under $0.50)! The Coke products (including Sprite Zero) was on sale at my local grocery store for only $1 each. That means you can make this delicious dessert for no more than $2 (plus you’ll have lots left over).
There you have it. We just spent about $14 (that’s only $7 per person) for this delightful meal.
